The "Modern Family' actress Sofia Vergara who got engaged recently, talked about how she wants to have kids and about how her fiancé is "the one."

Vergara, who started dating Joe Manganiello in July last year, got engaged to him on Christmas Day, last year, just after six months of dating.

Speaking to E! Online about her getting engaged, she said, "I finally realized that relationships don't need to be so much work," she said. "Ever since we met, it's been so easy. I'm very suspicious. I'm like, 'It's not normal that we've been together for nine months and we haven't had a big fight or anything.'"

Vergara, who is 42 years says she wouldn't mind having kids with her 38-year-old fiancée. Speaking to Redbook, she said, "Joe is younger than me. He's 38. He's never had kids. How am I going to say no? I tell him if we're going to do this, we have to do it, like, now, because I don't want to be 50 with a baby."

Although there has been no news about the wedding, Vergara's co-actress on "Modern Family' seems to think that the wedding will be wonderful. Speaking to E! Online, she said, "I'm sure her wedding will be extraordinary. My only question is, is it going to be four people or 500?"

Last week Vergara's best friend, photographer and real estate agent Barry Peele, hosted their engagement party at Soho House in Los Angeles.

Also, Vergara's 22-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, posted a photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger making a toast at the party on Instagram.
