Sofia Vergara Latest News: 'Modern Family' Actress Breaks Silence on Nick Loeb Frozen Embryo Rumors

Despite all the things that Colombian actress Sofia Vergara is busy with, including her new movie 'Hot Pursuit' and her wedding with Joe Manganiello, the actress still had the energy to finally clarify all the rumors thrown at her regarding the Embryo drama that her former boyfriend Nick Loeb got into.

Vergara, in her recent guest appearance on Howard Stern's show broke her silence about the complaint filed against her by her former fiancé Loeb preventing Vergara from destroying the two embryos that the previously conceived when they were a couple.

Well, apparently Vergara clarified that neither Loeb nor Vergara can do anything about it since they both agreed to a contract that they have to decide on certain matters including destroying the embryos together or else, no further action can be done.

"Can you blame me?" the ABC star said confiding with Stern in not wanting to have kids with someone who is not in a relationship with her anymore. "I couldn't imagine anyone saying that it's sane to bring into the world kids that already [have] everything set up wrong for them. It would be so selfish," Vergara continued.

Vergara also shared how she is indifferent with Loeb and that Loeb is the only one who has a problem with her. "More than a mother, [a baby] needs a loving relationship of parents that get along, that don't hate each other," later clarifying that Loeb is the one with the problem saying, "but obviously he has a problem with me."

The case, which was filed in 2014 was previously responded to be Vergara's representative saying that the claims bares no merit. "Vergara has never wanted to destroy her embryos," attorney Fred Silberberg said in a statement clarifying the issue.

"Vergara has never suggested that she wished to have the embryos destroyed. She has always maintained that they be kept frozen, a fact of which Loeb and his counsel have always been aware, despite Loeb's statements to the contrary," the statement added.

Vergara again pressed that the law is the law and that despite Loeb's contradictions, he cannot change anything as they both consented to not decide individually but together. "There is a law. You signed papers, legal papers and if it was so serious for him then, this issue, which I totally respect if it's serious for someone, then you should've taken it more seriously at the time," Vergara continued to Stern. "There is a contract. He can't do anything."
