'SNL' Justin Bieber Spoof: 'Baby' Singer Showcases Good Sense of Humor on Twitter
For those that may not know, "Saturday Night Live" recently made a parody of Justin Bieber's Calvin Klein ad.
Comedienne Kate McKinnon impersonated the pop star by wearing Calvin Klein's boxers, sporting fake tattoos and short hair while Cecily Strong portrayed Lara Stone who appeared in the campaign together with Bieber. The clip opened with McKinnon playing the drums then she said "I'm a big boy now."
McKinnon proceeded to sniff and hug Strong while the latter acted repulsed by the affection. The actress pointed to her fake tattoo and said "this tattoo made me say 'Owee'." McKinnon did some pushups but failed and held tiny barbells.
The spoof made fun of Bieber's alleged drinking history when the comedienne said "I'm not supposed to drink but I do" and sipped a juice carton. The pop star's height was also mocked when McKinnon stepped over some cranes to hug Strong. The clip ended with Bieber's famous "My Calvins" line and showed XXS size on McKinnon's boxers.
Viewers had a good laugh with the impersonation as well as Beiber who tweeted to SNL and wrote: "well played. Lol." Bieber's post was retweeted by SNL's official account.
Aside from SNL, Comedy Central will reportedly "roast" Bieber for his 21st birthday celebration. This would mean that the "Beauty and the Beat" singer will be made fun of by some hosts. Bieber seemed excited for the upcoming show since he announced it on a Twitter post.
The singer revealed that he wanted Comedy Central to "roast" him for several years now and he worked hard to achieve that. Bieber thanked Ryan Seacrest and Comedy Central for the announcement and he even started a hashtag, which is #BieberRoast.
Beiber had several embarrassing moments in the past that earned criticisms such as when he said that Anne Frank would have been a Belieber and when he wore a gasmask in a non toxic environment. The pop star was also charged for egging a house and was recorded on a video for urinating in a mop bucket while shouting "F**k You Bill Clinton!" Amidst all the controversies, Bieber remained as a top selling music artist.
Fans of Bieber a.ka. Beliebers are eagerly waiting for his next album, which will be launched this year.
