'Sniper Elite 4' Release Date, News: Title Set To Feature Slow Motion Elements?
New information on the release date and game play of Rebellion Developments' "Sniper Elite 4" have been revealed.
"Sniper Elite 4" is set to be released in January 2017, instead of 2016, Yibada has learned. As per the publication, the new release time line gives the studio an opportunity to make necessary modifications to the forthcoming game title. In contrary, some rumors unveiled that the studio is set to release the title in February 2017.
In a statement, Rebellion co-founders Jason Kingsley and Chris Kingsley said that when they had revealed "Sniper Elite 4" back in March, their plan had been to release it at the end of 2016. They added that the now knew Battlezone would be released in October as a launch title along the PlayStation VR and that had given them a tough decision to make.
For the studio founders, they were a relative small independent studio and releasing two major titles in the same quarter had not seemed like a logical thing to do.
A fan further revealed that the delay in the "Sniper Elite 4" release had been a business tactic, as per the publication. It is at par with the Kingsleys' statement that launching "Sniper Elite 4" in February gave them the opportunity to take a game that had already received some of the best preview feedback they had ever had and gave it extra attention.
In other news, "Sniper Elite 4" is set to feature slow motion elements, as per Lazy Gamer. As per the publication, the said feature is unique to the game and it allows to demonstrate combat in a "gruesome fashion." In addition, slow motion kills can also be done prior to switching to other weapons.
