'Sniper Elite 4' News: Developers Open To Critics, Discussion; World War II Influences [TRAILER]
In line with Rebellion Developments' "Sniper Elite 4," it is revealed that its game developers are open to critics and are ready to discuss them, including how they could improve the game.
In his interview with Metro UK, Rebellion Developments' head Jason Kingsley talked about how the title's developers handle critics from fans and gamers. He said that he did not think any game was critic-proof, because whatever people said, as professionals, they as a development team, whether they liked it or not, it would be acknowledged. For the studio lead, they might disagree, but they did take it all on board.
Based on Kingsley's statement, it is implied that the studio knows how to appreciate comments from the game's fans and players; however, it is also assumed that their feedback has restricted influence on the game's development. This further means that despite its open arms for other people's points-of-view, the studio preserves its supremacy when it comes to developing the game.
Meanwhile, Rebellion Developments' creative lead Tim Jones shared his thoughts on what fans could expect from the fourth "Sniper Elite" game installment. In his interview with iDigital Times, Jones said that they had got so many war buffs in the office and they were people who really knew the history of World War II and were fascinated by it.
According to Jones, there were so many untold stories, along with many fascinating things that had happened, and they took pride in actually exploring such ares that had not been tackled before.
Rebellion Developments' "Sniper Elite 4" is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One on Feb. 14, 2017. Watch the title's official teaser trailer here.
