‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2 Spoilers, Air Date: Henry’s Fate & Life After Irving

'Sleepy Hollow' was recently aired in its mid-season Fall finale and fans are already clamoring for more details about the fate of Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills. On that note, viewers can look forward to the series return in January of next year.

One thing fans can expect is a guest star appearance by Johnathon Schaech from the shows 'Ray Donovan' and 'Star-Crossed'.

A representative from the show confirmed the news to Give Me My Remote saying that Schaech is set to play the role of Solomon Kent in an upcoming episode titled "Spellcaster." Silas is said to be a former Puritan minister that found a way to become a powerful warlock.

Another thing of note is the fate of John Noble's character Henry and where his true allegiances lie. However, the show's co-executive producer Albert Kim told TV Guide this will not be crystal clear.

Moloch has surely been defeated, but the trouble is not over and Kim is telling fans to pay close attention to Henry.

"He has to determine what his path is and that will put him back in conflict with our heroes," Kim said, and added that Henry will have fans wondering if he is being more humane or has more selfish ambitions.

For Orlando Jones' character Frank Irving, showrunner Mark Goffman says Irving's death after facing off against the Horseman of War will have a huge impact on Ichabod and Abbie.

Goffman said that Irving's death "needs to have weight, needs to be real and had a very strong impact on Abbie, Crane and Jenny." He added that the incident will have huge ramifications when the season returns.

Goffman also teased that with Moloch's story having come to a close, there are more opportunities to introduce new demons and new bad guys for Ichabod and Abbie to face, which will make for more excitement once the show returns.

'Sleepy Hollow' will return to TV on Jan. 5, 2015.
