'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 News: New Faces To Join Cast
"Sleepy Hollow" has added three new faces to its cast for its fourth season-- Rachel Melvin of "Days of Our Lives," Oona Yaffe of "Master Chef Junior" season 2, and guest star Jerry MacKinnon of "Empire."
The three will play recurring roles and will join the previously cast Janina Gavankar of "True Blood" and Jeremy Davies of "Lost" for the upcoming season. Aside from adding new faces to its cast, "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 is also shifting its setting, from upstate New York to Washington D.C.
In the new series, Melvin will portray the straightforward and bracingly candid Alex Norwood, who is also a self-taught engineering genius working alongside Jake Wells in Washington D.C.'s supernatural archives. While Jake deals with information and news, Alex deals with artifacts and machines. Jake Wells will be portrayed by Jerry MacKinnon.
On the other hand, Yaffe will play the clever and poised Molly Thomas, who is also the 10-year-old daughter of Diana, a single mom. In the series, she will be portrayed as an explorer at heart, allowing her to bond quickly with Crane.
As for Jeremy Davies, he will play Malcolm Dreyfuss, one of the new villains in the series. An unconventional tech tycoon, he became a billionaire before he reached the age of 30 and has since then been seeking other worlds to conquer.
Last May, FOX announced the renewal of the critically-acclaimed fantasy drama series for another round.
"Sleepy Hollow" season 4 is expected to premiere in early 2017 on FOX.
