'Skyrim' Special Edition Release Date News: Players To See Remastered Trailer Soon
"Skyrim" players are set to see the game's remastered trailer soon, according to Bethesda.
According to Christian Daily, Bethesda head Pete Hines said that many players would enjoy the game's remastered version, since it would showcase a next-generation sort of gaming experience.
In a statement, as cited by Game N Guide, Hines said that they had not gotten into the full, but the basic premise was that they were trying to improve the game and make it as next-gen and appropriate for the platforms as possible.
"Performance, effects, or whatever we can do to make the game look and feel better, we're going to give it a go," Hines said.
On Sept. 24, Hines tweeted "it will be when it will be. Calm down." His tweet was a reply to Twitter user GhostgamingHD (@jamestanner_), who tweeted that he was very disappointed with the fan communication for the aforementioned game.
Some players rumor that the "Skyrim" Special Edition remaster for the Xbox One is set to have mods while the PlayStation 4 version will not. On Sept. 21, Hines tweeted as a response to CryoMedia (@CryoMedia) that the rumor was absolutely not true. He said that they would have released mods on PlayStation 4 some time ago if it had been up to them. However, they had be told not to.
Previously, Bethesda announced that Sony did not agree with the mod release for "Skyrim" remaster and "Fallout 4." In a statement, as posted on the studio's website, Bethesda said that Sony had informed them that they would not approve user mods the way they should work, where users could do anything they wanted for either "Fallout 4" or "Skyrim" Special Edition.
Meanwhile, Bethesda thinks that "Skyrim" Special Edition is set to perform satisfactorily while it does not have the PlayStation 3 mod support. In his interview with MCV UK, as cited by PlayStation Lifestyle, Hines said that even though he thought the game was set to do tremendously well, he did not think they needed to spend a whole lot of time explaining what it was.
Hines also mentioned that with "Dishonored 2," they wanted to spend time highlighting the fact that it was not just the same game, adding that they wanted to show that the team had been really ambitious.
"Skyrim" Special Edition is set to be released on Oct. 28.
