'Skyrim' Remaster Release News: No New Features For Title? Pre-order Available Now
Along with talks about Bethesda's "Skyrim" Remaster being available to preorder, it is revealed that the title is not set to have new features.
"Skyrim" Remaster is likely to preserve its original features, despite being an enhanced version of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." According to studio head Pete Hines, the title was not set to undergo tremendous changes on its features.
On Aug. 11, Hines wrote on his official Twitter account "not that I'm aware of. Not changing features or content like that." The studio head's tweet was a response to game enthusiast Logan Carter, who asked on a tweet if the forthcoming title remaster is set to have any new features, such as quick save.
In other news, "Skyrim" Remaster is now available to preorder on Xbox. According to Game Spot, the "Special Edition," can now be preordered on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. However, it cannot be pre-loaded as the file size shows 106.15. In a statement, Hines confirmed that that should not be enlisted there and it was probably a mistake, adding that it might be just a temporary file.
"Skyrim" Remaster is the enhanced iteration of Bethesda's "The Elder Scrolls X: Skyrim," an open world action-adventure role-playing video game and fifth installment in the "The Elder Scrolls" game series after "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion." The title follows the main character as he takes down the dragon Aldiun, who is predicted to destroy the Earth.
Bethesda's "Skyrim" was released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows in Nov. 2011.
