Following the release of 'Skylanders' in October, the game is now being sold on Apple's online market as well as its physical stores. The game is one of the few third party titles that can actually be found on Apple store shelves.

Also, as a way of promoting the game, the Trap Team announced that players can tweet photos and videos of themselves while playing the game until December 11.

The photos and videos can be uploaded to the @SkylandersGame's Twitter account using the hashtags #TrapAndPlaySweeps and #Skylanders. The chosen users with the top three best posts will get a chance to win an iPad Air 2 and the Trap Team Tablet Starter Pack.

The Skylanders Trap Team can be played with any iPad or Android tablet, but for a full optimization of the game, Slash Gear recommends the use of the latest generation of iPad Air or iPad mini.

For only $75, one can already get a copy of the Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack for iPad. The purchase will include a free download of the game, a collectable poster, a portal, a wireless game controller and two Skylanders with traps.

In addition, players will no longer need to manually connect the game by going to the settings tab, since it has the ability to automatically connect to a wireless server.

While the game is mostly crafted for kids, it can be enjoyed by video game players of all ages, according to IGN.

According to Activision, the game is best played on the 3rd and 4th generation iPad, iPad mini with retina display, iPad mini 3, iPad Air and iPad Air 2.

Aside from Android tablets, it can also be played in Playstation 3 and 4, Kindle Fire, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
