Skillet Records A Hit Once Again With 'Unleashed' [TOUR DATES]

Rock group Skillet again debuted on top five in the Christians Album Chart with its new recording, "Unleashed."

This was reportedly the third album by the group which landed in the top five in the charts, according to the report. Their second album "Awake" peaked at the top two during its debut, while their first album, "Rise," peaked at no. 4.

Leadman John Cooper said, "I am so blown away by the loyalty of our fans once again. It is such a huge honor to keep making music that people resonate with. This week was more than we hoped for."

The band already sold over 11 million units from its two albums worldwide. Their seminal work, "Monster," is considered as the "best-selling digital single in the history of Christian Music," while also remaining to be one of the most streamed music on Spotify.

Meanwhile, their recent single, "Feel Invincible," has been used as an anthem on WWE's "Battleground" and Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports Awards, according to the press release. It will also be used as the soundtrack to the opening video for the Atlantic Coast Conference football season.

Fans can listen to Skillet perform some of the songs on "Unleashed" with the Christian rock band will hit the road this fall, alongside Thousand Foto Krutch, Devour The Day and Sick Puppies. The overseas concerts in Russa and Europe, meanwhile, will feature Red Sun Rising.
