'Sister Wives' Season 6 Spoilers, Rumors: TLC Series To Continue as Divorce Drama Intensifies

TLC has confirmed a Season 6 for their controversial and popular reality show Sister Wives. The Season 5 finale will feature the divorce drama encircling the polygamous family.

The Browns, Kody, with wives Meri, Janelle, and Christine have hinted throughout the season that the family would have a major change following a shocking announcement from one of the wives on last Sunday's episode.

Meri, the first wife of Kody, told cameras that she was looking to divorce. Usually, the word divorce is to bring nothing but misery and heartache. However, the family is considering Meri's decision a positive thing, saying to sources that the decision was reached together as a family.

This decision of Meri's would allow Kody to legally marry the youngest romantic interest, Robyn. The marriage would also provide health care to Robyn's children. Meri tweeted to fans of the show on her account, "Can I just say tabloid? Or media? Come on, you guys have got to be smarter than that! ;-) Watch my REAL reason on March 1. #SisterWives,"

Megan Schaefer of International Business Times also added, "Fans will soon get to see how the other sister wives will respond to Kody's wife swap. 'I did not see that coming at all,' Christine admits during the promo video for the finale episode. Meanwhile, Janelle will express her concerns regarding the divorce. 'I'm worried that it changes the dynamic,' she says in a clip.

The Season 5 finale of Sister Wives will air on March 1 at 8 pm EST on TLC. The series will continue with Season 6 in Fall 2015.
