'Sing' 2016 Movie Cast, Spoilers: Upcoming Musical Film Set To Hit Big Screen On Dec. 21, Trailer Released
Illumination Entertainment already unwraps its Christmas present for the kids at heart early this year. The trailer teaser for their upcoming musical film "Sing" is already available for viewing.
Aside from the much-awaited animation film "The Secret Life Of Pets," the musical film is said to "mark something of a creative departure from previous Illumination entries," according to Rotoscopers.
The film will feature Hollywood actors such as Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth McFarlane, Tori Kelly. Moreover, movie actors John C. Reily Taron Edgarton, and Scarlet Johansson are also starring.
"Sing" is both directed and written by the talented individual Garth Jennings. According to the report, Garth will be working with his frequent collaborator Joby Talbolt for the musical score. The movie is produced by Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy.
Furthermore, "Sing" will bring more excitement than "The Secret Life of Pets." Based on the preview, the movie has the same vibe with "American Idol With Animals" which they stated to have an "effective humor."
They are also hoping that "Sing" could come out like "Happy Feet" which is a successful movie. They said that musical film like the latter has a good "jukebox musicals in feature animation."
The story is about Buster Moon (McConaughey) and his desire to revive his theater by holding a singing contest with a prize of $100,000, according to Deadline. However, the competition attracts the "William Hungs" of the singing contests.
"Sing" will kick off in big screen on December 21, 2016. Watch the trailer here:
