'Silicon Valley' Season 2 New Trailer, Spoilers News: HBO Releases Teaser Ahead of April 12 Premiere [VIDEO]
Fans were jumping with joy when the first trailer for season two of HBO's "Silicon Valley" released last month. Now, the network released a second trailer, giving fans more about the plot for the show's spring premiere.
In the show, Pied Piper won Tech Crunch Disrupt last season, and now everyone is looking to help the small at-home business blossom. However things aren't going to be easy with big-time Nucleus getting in the way.
In the trailer Gavin Belson, played by Matt Ross, said to his staff, "All I care about is Nucleus is better than Pied Piper. I don't know about you people, but I don't want to live in world where someone else makes the world a better place...better than we do."
The show returns the crew of miscreants who are stressed not so much as to how to get funding, but who they will allow to help them. The video shows a new character, Russ Hanneman, played by Chris Diamantopoulos, who is looking to be the front runner for Pied Piper's financial problems.
It looks like Monica, played by Amanda Crew, will also have a more prominent role as she sits down for a job interview in the trailer. In an interview with HBO Crew said, "The journey you expect them to go on is not the journey they go on."
Along with Ross, Diamantopoulos and Crew, the show also stars Aly Mawji as Aly Dutta, Thomas Middleditch as Richard, T.J. Miller as Erlich, Josh Brener as Big Head, Martin Starr as Gilfoyle, Kumail Nanjiani as Dinesh, Christopher Evan Welch as Peter Gregory and Zach Wood as Jared.
The second season for "Silicon Valley" airs April 12 at 10 pm on ET.
