Playstation Lifestyle has published Konami's brief statement regarding the recent changes what seems to be the disappearance of Hideo Kojima's tagline on the Metal Gear website as well as on the Zone of Enders HD Collection website.

After a series of questions regarding the fate of 'Silent Hills', the game publisher did not confirm the alleged cancellation but they had mentioned that there are no announcements for the game at the moment.
Another purported reason for this is that, according to Cyberland, "Konami did not allow Kojima to use the Fox Engine to make the 'Silent Hills' game and Konami has since put the game on ice."
In the previous month, an apparent employee to employer strain was echoed on the Internet when Kojima was allegedly not given access to corporate Internet, phone calls, and emails according to GameSpot.
Kojima has also been hinting that the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain might be his last game. However he had made a joint statement with Konami that he will still be involved and continue working on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. After which promotional advertisements for MGSV:TPP had at the absence of the designer's tagline.
Hideo Kojima, 51, started working for Konami in 1986. He has not released any public statement regarding the drastic changes observed by many gamers.
