Congratulations to Tyscot Artist Shirley Murdock on her 2013 Stellar Gospel Music Award nomination.

Ms. Murdock received one Stellar Award nomination in the Traditional Female of the Year category for the project, Live: The Journey.

Fans and supporters may remember Murdock's appearance on the 2012 Stellar Gospel Music Awards as a presenter along with Gospel artists Vashawn Mitchell and Smokie Norful.

Murdock is honored to be nominated and grateful for all the love she has received since releasing her project Live: The Journey. It has been a phenomenal journey for her and it continues as she celebrates and continues to share her gift with others.

Shirley shared her thoughts and excitement, "I was so excited to learn that I was nominated for a 2013 Stellar Award! I am honored and humbled to be in the company of such gifted singers and I am grateful for everyone's love and support!"

Shirley Murdock is looking forward to celebrating with all of her fellow gospel music family and friends at the 2013 Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Nashville, TN on January 19th.
