'The View' co-Host Sherri Shepherd and co-host Jenny McCarthy both celebrated their final show in the latest episode of the long running ABC talk show.

"After seven years for the very last time I said 'take a little time to enjoy #TheView' ... I smile because it's been the best... Most challenging... Tearful... Joyous...Intimidating...laughter filled... Fearful... Rewarding job I have ever had, I leave w not one regret. No bridges burned...I will miss being a part of something really special but when the ride is over you gotta be okay w getting off and trying something new," wrote Sherri Shepherd via Instagram.

"...I look forward to God's journey for me. Thank you for letting me into your home for seven amazing years. I am incredibly grateful to you for your support and your love. #onward #nolookingback," she added,

On Shepherd's final day on the show (which aired on August 11), gospel singers Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin and Donnie McClurkin all performed for the 47-year-old Christian actress and comedienne when she said goodbye to 'The View.'

Jenny McCarthy also shared her thoughts on her longtime friend and colleague during the episode, "You are, in my life, one of the most beautiful human beings," she said.

Shepherd also expressed her feelings on her co-host McCarthy exiting the talk show, "This is a job where you've got a lot of craziness going on. But Jenny McCarthy always comes in with a smile and is one of the nicest people to work with in this business so it's been so wonderful having you here for the first year," said Shepherd.

Shepherd went on social media recently to reveal what her next job will be after she leaves 'The View'.

"Security just left my hotel I was screaming so loudly! My #Cinderella script just got delivered! So excited to be on Broadway!!!! #nomoreHotTopics," wrote Shepherd on Instagram.

'The View' airs at 11am from Monday to Friday on the ABC network.
