Fans of "Sherlock" have always been nosey on the love life of Molly Hooper (Louise Brealey), which brings in a mellow side to the crime series.

Molly's interest in the protagonist Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) was noticeable since the first season of the British-American drama. She tried to find a different man in the third season but she ended up with another eccentric detective which resembles Sherlock a lot.

Interestingly, buzz has it that "Sherlock" season 4 will bring in more love for Molly.

Rupert Graves, the man behind Inspector Lestrade, spoke to Collider and revealed some interesting bits.

"I think definitely Lestrade has got the hots for Molly. So maybe they'll develop that," said Graves. "We don't know what happens until we see the scripts, and that could literally be a couple of weeks before you film."

The possible arch sounds very promising and storyworth but this may just upset long-time shippers of Sherlock-Molly.

Speaking of "ship," even the Oxford English Dictionary has used the duo to define the new word which means to want someone to fall in love.

"I'll always ship Sherlock and Molly," says the dictionary example.

The next season of Sherlock is slated for premiere in early 2017. The show films season 4 in spring 2016.

Fans are curious if the "Abominable Bride" will be in any way related to the "Sherlock" Season 4, reports Crossmap.
