'Sharknado 3' News: Jared Fogle Cut From 'Sharknado 3'

Jared Fogle's part in 'Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!' has been cut from the film after the FBI raided the Subway spokesman's home in Indiana on Tuesday.

The raid took place two months after Russell Taylor, who was the head of the Fogle founded non profit the Jared Foundation, was charged by federal prosecutors with the production and possession of child pornography.

A spokesman for Syfy, which will be broadcasting the third film in the horror franchise on July 22nd, has confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that a cameo appearance that Fogle shot for the film will not be seen in the final cut.

On the day of the raid, Subway also announced that it would be suspending its relationship with Fogle, who became a spokesperson for the company after claiming to have lost a dramatic amount of weight by switching to a diet of Subway sandwiches combined with regular exercise.

Fogle has previously appeared in the 2014 release, 'Sharknado 2: The Second One'.

After the reports of the investigation surfaced, Subway almost immediately responded by releasing a statement via its Twitter account.

"Subway & Jared Fogle have agreed to suspend their relationship due to the current investigation," Subway wrote on its Twitter account, Tuesday afternoon. "Jared is cooperating with authorities."

A few hours earlier, the international sandwich chain tweeted the following: "We are shocked about the news & believe it is related to a former Jared Foundation employee. We are monitoring the situation closely."

There has been no details provided about the investigation at this time, although Fogle's attorney has stated that his client is not facing any criminal charges.
