Everyone's favorite New York ladies are coming back! Yes, the rumors are everywhere and a few of the stars of 'Sex and the City' have even been saying that there might just be a third movie in the works.
The creator Michael Patrick King has recently been working on the show 'The Comeback', but it hasn't been doing so great in ratings. He was heard saying that there could definitely be more 'Sex and the City' in the near future, leading many to believe that he means a new movie.
In a Twitter conversation, stars Kristen Davis and Sarah Jessica Parker were doing almost all of the confirming necessary. They were chatting back and forth along with Jennifer Hudson about beginning to work on the third movie.
The first movie raked in about $288 million whereas the second one only brought in about $188 million. The ratings were not as high for the second film, but avid fans of the show and the films are really excited about the possibility of a third movie.
Michael Patrick King has been quoted saying that he has "one more story to tell." If this means that fans will get a third movie, that will make the fans incredibly happy. King also told Entertainment Weekly that Parker knows what the last story is, and it's between her and King, but it will get told one way or another.
As it stands, there's no news about the official release date for a third 'Sex and the City' film.
