Seventh Day Slumber New Album “Love & Worship” Drops March 12th
Seventh Day Slumber fans are amped for their first studio album release in a couple years. The Christian rockers just released their first single from the record back in January. The premiere track is called "I Am Not The Same" and it's off the band's Spring release Love & Worship due out in stores March 12, 2013.
The 11 song CD is a blend of mega-popular Contemporary Christian covers and some original worship songs from Seventh Day Slumber. Some of the tunes include Matt Redman's Grammy Award winning "10,000 Reasons".
Seventh Day Slumber formed in 1996 and was an independent band before signing to BEC Recordings in 2005. They've been adding to their fan base ever since, releasing 6 full length albums on BEC Records.
Seventh Day Slumber reached number 1 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers Chart with their 2005 release, Once Upon A Shattered Life. They reached number 62 with their 2007 release, Finally Awake. Their first two albums appeared at number 26 and 16, respectively, on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart along with their 2009 release Take Everything that climbed all the way to number 11. Finally Awake eventually topped the Billboard Top Christian and Gospel Albums Chart at number 1 and Take Everything eventually ranked number 141 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
