The different episodes feature love, sex, violence, murder, and drama. Many fans of the show appreciate the small beginnings of the podcast. It began in Koenig's basement and was really to be a small experiment. It is now getting worldwide press and has been very successful.

'Serial' Season 2 has no release date yet, and the staff does not know what cases and stories it will focus on, but there is great hope for some seriously intriguing cases and new stories. The news has been filled with enough cases this past year to run a full season of the show, for sure.
