'Sense8' Season 2 Release News, Cancellation Rumors: Cast And Crew Wrap Up Filming For Next Season

Recent reports suggest that the production and crew of "Sense8" have already wrapped up filming for its second season. However, rumors about its cancellation continue to swirl around, making fans wonder if season 2 is really happening or not.

For the avid followers of the series who have been following the adventures of the "Sense8" crew and cast, season 2 is well on its way.  Despite lack of official announcement from the creators of the series, posts of the "Sense8" stars on social media seem to confirm that season 2 is indeed happening.

Just recently, the lead star of the series, Brian J. Smith, shared on Twitter a snapshot of the cast as they wrap up filming for the upcoming season.

Some speculate that season 2 was cancelled due to its production cost. According to reports, filming in different countries is too costly for Netflix, so the network has decided to cancel the show. However, the cast members of the popular series hint that they are working to deliver another season for their viewers. In fact, Jamie Clayton also recently teased that the premiere episode of the upcoming season will air on Christmas day, while the remaining episodes will air next year.

Meanwhile, a short video that was released recently confirmed that Aml Ameen will no longer join the cast of season 2. Toby Onwumere will take his place and will portray Capheus next season. There are also speculations that season 2 will feature a love triangle between Wolfgang Bogdanow, Kala Dandekar and Rajan Rasal, although that remains to be seen.
