While fans continue to gush on the new romance surrounding pop singer Selena Gomez and EDM artist Zedd, it appears that not all remain convinced of its authenticity.

In a recent interview with Radio.com, DJ Diplo had some very opinionated statements on Zedd's new album and the direction he's taking in his career. He also tags on that he feels Zedd and Selena's relationship is just one big publicity stunt. He states:

"I'm actually not enemies with Zedd by any means. I just think that he came from such a cool place, and now he's been pegged as a money-maker for a major label to do EDM, which to me isn't even a genre. But they've pegged him for that, they've marketed him, even the fake relationship with Selena Gomez, all the things to sell records took away from the music."

Along with being frequently spotted together at social events, the two recently released a song together titled 'I Want You To Know' that has appeared on Zedd's album.

Neither Zedd or Selena has confirmed their relationship, but both have largely implied their an item. In a past interview with Radio Disney, Selena speaks on her thoughts of the artist.

"He's this cute little German, and he's got really beautiful eyes, and he's very sweet and funny," Gomez said. "I respect his vision because he has a way of knowing how important his role is as an EDM artist, and he doesn't spend most of his time traveling the world Djing."

"He and I met when we were recording using the same building and he needed to use my bathroom. We ended up talking, sharing music and it happened organically. He's great, and he cares so much about the meaning of his songs."
