Selena Gomez New Album News: Singer Releases BTS Clip of 'Good For You'
Selena Gomez just granted the wishes of her many fans, also known as Selenators, on June 17, when she released a short clip of her video for "Good For You."
In the clip, which shows behind the scenes footage of the video, Gomez is seen standing in a recording studio as she reads words off of her phone and into the microphone.
She then stands back from the microphone as the first beats of her song begin to play.
Some fans have said that it is reminiscent of "The Heart Wants What it Wants," which was about the end of her relationship with Justin Bieber.
Gomez posted the clip with the caption: "I feel like I can exhale #goodforyou June 22nd."
Most fans agree that the best part of the lyrics that she is reading is the words, "But I'm blinded by the sun. I'm reborn in every moment. So who knows what I'll become".
Gomez' fans believe that this could perhaps be the second part of her popular break up anthem "The Heart Wants What it Wants".
Perhaps she is trying to communicate that she has moved on from what happened with Bieber. The entire video is set to be released on June 22nd, around the same time that Bieber's video for "Where Are You Now," will debut.
There seems to be striking similarities between "Good For You" and "The Heart Wants What it Wants."
The latter video begins with Gomez crying in her dressing room about Bieber, as she recites a monologue about her heartbreak after the end of her relationship with him.
According to a source, many of her songs are based on her personal experience.
