Gossip outlets are all talking about how Selena Gomez hugged her idol Jennifer Aniston at the Golden Globes 2015 after party.

Gomez shared two photos of her and Aniston on Instagram at the event. The first picture showed the two with big smiles on their faces. The second photo was a collage of black and white and colored images of Gomez and Aniston hugging.

A month ago, Gomez expressed her admiration for the 'Cake' star in an Instagram post that she captioned: "I have not only been following her career as a fan since I was 8 and now get to watch her completely transform in her new movie CAKE, I have gotten to have real conversations with such a real heart, made my entire year. #cake #goseeit."

Aniston was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Drama for her role in the movie 'Cake'. Although the award went to Julianne Moore for her performance in 'Still Alice', Aniston is predicted to be the top contender for Best Actress for another awards show, which is the Oscars.

Aside from hugging Aniston, Gomez was also seen holding hands with music producer DJ Zedd at the after party. The pair was inseparable as they made their way through the crowded event. At the red carpet, Gomez had a big smile on her face as she posed with Zedd and Cara Delevigne for the cameras. "The Heart Wants What it Wants" singer rested her arm on Zedd's shoulder as he wrapped his right arm around her waist.

The Russian-German music producer won Best Dancing Recording for the hit "Clarity" in 2013 Grammy Awards. Zedd produced "Beauty and the Beat" by Gomez's former lover Justin Bieber. Other than Bieber, the producer has also worked with several stars such as Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and P. Diddy.

Aside from being a pop star, Gomez is set to make waves again on the film industry for an upcoming movie with Paul Rudd entitled "The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving."
