After touring for three to four months straight, award winning worship trio Selah, decided to embark on a challenge for 2015 that will affect both their health and weight.

Group members Amy Perry and Todd Smith took to Facebook at the top of the year to share with their beloved followers what they have committed to do for 2015. The announcement came after the incredible success of their album You Amaze Us and after their Christmas tour.

"We haven't been home any weekend since August, Perry said, it's been crazy, and we're miserable. We've gained weight, we're uncomfortable and we just all talked one night back stage and decided is time for us to make some real life changes with our health and our weight."

Smith revealed that his goal is to lose 60lbs and Perry said both she and Allan Hall desire to loose 100lbs pounds each. "Collectively Selah wants to loose 260lbs," Perry declared, "which sounds like an insurmountable [number], but I know we can do this."

Smith said they have done it before and Perry agreed revealing that before her son, Josiah, was born she lost 80lbs. Their goal is to lose all the weight before their two cruises by Feb. of 2016.

If we start Jan. 1 then that gives us 13 months to get ourselves right," Perry continued, "so we are asking you to pray with us, pray for us, join us."

Selah did not reveal their exact weight loss plans, but Perry did say she was starting with a sugar detox and Smith said he was doing Advocare. Watch the full video on Facebook HERE and join Selah in getting fit for 2015.
