The popular horror flick "Scream" gets a TV adaptation that is now in Season 2. The first promo preview looks like it will be as scary as the movie used to be.

The mysterious teaser has been released publicly thru YouTube by MTV. So far, the promo clip has already more than 50k views and still counting. Meanwhile, the majority of the people's comments on the video expressed their excitement towards the much-awaited TV series. The brief description captioned on the video can be read below.

"What starts as a YouTube video going viral, soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town's troubled past."

"So thirsty for blood, we're coming back sooner than expected. Scream Season 2 now premieres Monday, May 30th on MTV. Are you ready for the games to begin again?"

Although the teaser did not provide any hints about the overall plot, Cinema Blend believes that it gives a hint a "everyone's a suspect." The previous season of "Scream" was noted as a slasher but still inclined to the original story which was created by Wes Craven.

So far, viewers can only expect much from the Season 2, and MTV News advised that "be sure to remember this bit of advice courtesy of 'Scream' Season 2 tagline: Trust nothing," as we quote.
