The latest episode of "Scream" season 2 gets intense as Brooke launches a huge attack on the town. Emma is also bound to put up with a series of horrifying games at the carnival.

It looks like Emma is going to be the highlight of the upcoming episode, as she endures a series of tests like no other.

The official synopsis for the episode says, "The killer forces Emma through a gauntlet of not-so-fun games during the Lakewood Days Carnival; and Brooke launches an attack on the entire town."

The synopsis reveals that during the Lakewood Days Carnival, a killer will show up to compel Emma to participate, so she will have to endure a series of terrifying tests in order to save her life from the killer.  

Titled "Village of the Damned," the episode will also reveal what happens next after the events that happened in the previous episode.

In episode 7 titled "Let the Right One In," a new killer came to terrorize the town, claiming the lives of two teenagers and the hand of Mr. Branson. The episode also saw Emma being confronted by Sheriff Acosta following his discovery that the emails sent to her father came from Emma's IP address.

Elsewhere in the episode, Maggie met Sheriff Acosta at the old James Farm, where they already had an idea of who could be stalking Emma.

Episode 7 also saw Zoe using Noah to email a file of her confession to someone.

"Scream" season 2, episode 8 airs on July 19, 9:00 p.m. on MTV.
