Scarlett Johansson News: Actress Returns as Black Widow in 'Captain America 3'
It has been reportedly a very busy and hectic year for Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson. Not only was she cast in the 'Ghost in the Shell' film which will premiere in 2017, but she will also star in the upcoming 'Captain America 3' film alongside Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr.
The hardworking actress will reprise her role as the Black Widow in the film which Evans is the main character playing Captain America himself. Also, rumors have been confirmed that Downey will be reprising his role as Iron Man in the same film.
"It's going to star Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson will be back, Winter Soldier will be back and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man will also be joining us in the net film", Anthony and Joe Russo confirmed in his interview with Sina.
The film will be called "Captain America: Civil War" according to the Russos, directors of the film. The film reportedly is already in its early stages of development. "We've been preparing for the movie since the last one debuted last year," the Russos said. "So, we've been working on it for a long time now. We're very happy how it's coming along," they added.
There also reports confirming the comeback of Anthony Mackie as The Falcon. Meanwhile there will also be some new faces in the film like Chadwick Boseman in his MCU debut as Black Panther, Daniel Bruhl, Frank Grillo as Crossbones, and rumor has it that Jeremy Renner will also appear as Hawkeye.
Although directors for the film haven't officially announced the release date of the film, it has been rumored that it will premiere in May 6, 2016 in the US. But it is definite that the film will premiere on April 2016 in U.K. according to several reports.
In other news, 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' film is set to premiere on May 1, 2015 which all the characters like Johansson's Black Widow, Downey's Iron Man and Evans' Captain America will be starring.
