Fans of Scarlett Johansson will not only be excited to learn that the actress got secretly married last Fall, but is now introducing the world to her new husband, Romain Dauriac.

The two were seen together on Monday night at the Gotham Independent Film Awards where the marriage rumors surrounded them.

For those that may not know, Dauriac is a French journalist, and their union would make for Scarlett Johansson's second marriage.

She and Dauriac do have a brand new baby, Rose, together and apparently the couple were showing pictures of her to everyone at the event.

The couple was engaged for a year and according to the witnesses at their secret wedding, it took place on October 1 in Phillipsburg, Montana. The actress was seen wearing a gold band on her ring finger a few months back so the rumors were already circulating.

Many were shocked by Johansson's decision to get married since she was quoted in Elle UK last January saying that marriage was not very high on her list of priorities right now. She said that marriage wasn't something she even thought about on a regular basis. Clearly, she changed her mind and relatively quickly.

The two started dating in December of 2012. Many thought that they would get married in France near his family and closest friends, but they chose Montana.

Many are very happy for Scarlett and Romain and some are still having doubts if it will last. Fans can recall just know how her marriage with Ryan Reynolds went; south.

On a side note, and in regards to Reynolds, the actor is expecting his first child with his new wife, Blake Lively.

Last but not least, fans of Scarlett Johansson hope for nothing but good things for the couple and their adorable baby, Rose.
