In November, we were left dumbfounded when Olivia disappeared from the apartment only moments after Jake left. At last, the deadly cliffhanger will be resolved in the upcoming winter premiere of 'Scandal'.

In the last episode of the drama, "Where the Sun Don't Shine", the Vice President in the Oval Office has at last made clear his impure intentions with Olivia's photos: he wants to use her as bait to start a war. In the meantime, we watched in collective horror as Jake and Olivia's celebratory union was stopped by Olivia's sudden disappearance.

Now, ABC has revealed that all of our questions will be answered sooner than we thought. In the synopsis for "Run", episode 10 of Season 4, we learn that "the winter premiere picks up right where the finale left off, this time from Olivia's point of view."

The network also promises to answer the questions: "Exactly what happened when Jake went to the bedroom? Who took Olivia and where did she go?"

Upon seeing the spilled wine in episode 9, viewers were left wondering whether Olivia was captured, or if she ran away. Obviously, she did not leave on her own, as the synopsis specifies that this is the episode where "the fight of Olivia's life will begin."

"Run" promises to be one of Scandal's intense premieres yet. If anyone knows how to do drama, it is creator Shonda Rhimes. Shonda also created the Golden Globe-nominated drams, 'How to Get Away with Murder'. Scandal's 10^th episode airs on January 29^th on ABC.
