In the latest episode of 'Scandal', Olivia Pope was threatened by her own father (to the surprise of many) while Cyrus' scandal was all worked out in its final and crucial moments.

In Season 4 Episode 9, entitled "Where the Sun Don't Shine," Olivia is in grave danger after her father threatened her life, according to Christian Today. Rowan Pope cuts his connections with his daughter and turns against her for good. Fitz and Jake have helped her in tracking Rowan down, but he isn't her biggest problem as another family member is back to jeopardize her life.

Olivia's mother, who is no longer behind bars, was visited by her daughter. Olivia went to see Maya Lewis, hoping to get some clues about the whereabouts of Rowan.

Olivia immediately headed to meet Cyrus, who was already packing up his things. She then stopped him and told him to pick himself up and reminded him of everything he has worked for.

Cyrus was moved by Olivia's words and decided to go on air with Michael to discuss his engagement. In the end, he got his job back and the scandal was resolved. Furthermore, Olivia wanted to talk with Fitz, but after she found he was celebrating with Cyrus and Abby, she opted not to interrupt.

Andrew came to see Fitz in the office right at the moment when Quinn and Huck figured out Elizabeth's plans. Andrew knew about the explosion and was involved with Winslow, who helped manage West Angola's assets. Together with Elizabeth, he was planning the war the whole time. The only thing that didn't make sense were Olivia's pictures.

Jake stopped by Olivia's place to talk about Rowan, but she avoided the topic and invited Jake for a dance instead. They kissed and were about to get more intimate, but after he left and returned with a pillow, he couldn't find Olivia.

In the final moments of the episode, Andrew taunted Fitz by asking him what he couldn't live without, and it was at that point that Fitz realized that Andrew had done something to Olivia.
