'Scandal' Season 4 Episode 10 Spoilers: Who Kidnapped Olivia Pope?
The winter finale of 'Scandal' Season 4 left everyone wondering about who kidnapped Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington). Fans will now have to wait for a considerable time to get the answer, for the series will return after its long hiatus on Jan. 29.
In 'Scandal' Season 4 Episode 9 viewers saw Olivia reuniting with her parents Eli (Joe Morton) and Maya (Khandi Alexander) for a brief while. The reunion, however, did not go well, mainly because Olivia and her estranged father do not mix. In fact, Olivia threatened to shoot her father. When Eli finds that her gun was not loaded, he becomes furious and snaps all relations with Olivia. Is it possible that Eli kidnapped Olivia? Well, fans will have to wait to know the truth.
Then again, Olivia's mother Maya is also besieged with her own problems. Contrary to her non-cooperation, May was forced by President Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) to disclose the hideout of Eli.
Now it remains to be seen if Fitz can hunt down the culprit who kidnapped Olivia. Viewers will be keen to know that despite everything that happened between the two lovers and also the presence of Jake (Scott Foley) in Olivia's life, will they be able to reunite.
According to Christian Today, in a recent interview with TV Guide, Tony Goldwyn spoke about Fitz and Olivia's future.
In reply to a question on whether Fitz will do anything to save Olivia and nab her kidnapper, Goldwyn said, "Of course. I do believe it. I don't know if anyone else does, but I do. He would never give up on the fantasy; that's what keeps him alive. He is absolutely resolute in his certainty that if they're given that chance, they would have a great, healthy relationship. He may live in a fantasy world, but he truly believes that he and Olivia are the answer for one another no matter what."
Another line of thought says the even Vice-President Andrew Nichols (Jon Tenney) could have got Olivia kidnapped to force the President to declare the war he has been preparing for all the time. Or someone else is responsible for Olivia's kidnapping?
Fans will get the answers to these mysteries when 'Scandal' returns on Jan. 29 on ABC Network.
