All seemed well for the guests who arrived at the 2015 Emmy Awards last Sunday night in Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater including renowned chef Sandra Lee who recently underwent breast cancer surgery, and her latest reported unfortunate infection from undergoing mastectomy.

Lee was looking healthier more than ever even bringing along the biggest smile she has for the Red Carpet appearance wearing a very significant colored gown, pink ball gown that of course showed her involvement in the Breast Cancer awareness movement.

The 49-year-old surprised everyone with her attendance since it was her first one since she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer although she had been updating her social media from time to time sharing the latest update with her health. Her most recent came out after months of being silent announcing that she is finally well and had been busy setting up a website.

"Hello it's Sandy here, finally! I wanted to personally give you an update and to let you know that I needed a little time, I needed a minute. The last infection threw me a bit and I decided to focus and redirect all my energies internally. I physically and emotionally just needed to be silent and still while I healed. This has been an unreal chain of events in my life. I am still stunned, still digesting and still processing everything that has taken place this past year," she wrote on Facebook remembering the past year she experienced.

The famous chef also thanked her dear doctors for right away finding out her infection that lead to a speedy recovery. "I wanted to share with you that I am so humbled by the doctors, researchers and warriors that came before me and allowed me the opportunity for an early detection! Thank you all," she added.

She also announced her website that she has worked hard for, writing, "I do also want you to know that I did have had one outlet, a creative platform that allowed me out of my head and that lightened my heart."
