Former Food Network star Sandra Lee has had one tough few months after being diagnosed last March of Breast Cancer, undergoing double mastectomy in May and even recovering. But now, Lee has to face yet another unfortunate challenge as she must undergo additional surgery.

The famous chef recently updated her Facebook status announcing that she will be undergoing yet another surgery for the infection they recently discovered and the surgery will be happening tomorrow. "Andrew and I have decided that tomorrow I will go back into surgery. I did my very best to avoid this (when I tell you I did everything, I mean everything - modern, Eastern and holistic) but infection is an incredible monster," Lee wrote on Facebook.

"I am a long way from where I was and a long way from where I need to be, but at this point I understand that right now I just need to complete this unexpected phase of a tough journey," she added posting the message on Monday.

For her fans not to worry, Lee assures in her message that she is ready despite the unfortunate procedure that she always wishes to avoid. "Right now the ball is in my court and it's time for a mean backhand- and I am taking that shot (And just so you know I DO, in fact, have one mean backhand on the tennis court! It's actually stronger than my forehand - solid, swift and accurate). So my plan for tomorrow is game, set, match!"

The news came as a heart break for many since Lee's previous post on her social media accounts suggests that she is doing just fine and even recovering well. The Chef even announced herself that she is slowly gaining much energy to return back to work.

"I am slowly returning back to my daily routine. I am getting more and more energy every day. Slowing down is not something I am used to doing but I know it's so important to ease back into everything. I am looking forward to returning back to work part time tomorrow," she wrote on Facebook last July.

So as of right now, prayers and well wishes are sent to the 49-year-old Lee so she could surpass her upcoming surgery just like she did in battling breast cancer.
