The Chargers (5-4) are looking to rebound after their embarrassing 37-0 defeat to the Miami Dolphins (on November 2), as San Diego attempts to avoid a possible four game losing streak against the Raiders.

"They flat-out beat us," said Chargers QB Phillip Rivers to reporters in reference to their recent loss to Miami.

"For 60 minutes they wore us out."

Chargers head coach Mike McCoy revealed that his team's is still confident that they will reverse their current misfortune starting with their upcoming match with the Raiders.

"We'll get this back on track, I promise you," said McCoy to reporters, "No doubt in my mind."

Meanwhile, the win-less Raiders (0-9) were recently crushed by a final score of 41-17 to the Denver Broncos last Sunday, a game where QB Derek Carr went 30-47 for 192 yards, underlined by two touchdown passes and two interceptions.

"There seems to be a play every game that happens to us and then everything kind of snowballs from there," said Oakland safety Charles Woodson to reporters.

"There were a couple missed tackles, mine included, which I feel like, man, 'I'm part of the play that really turned the game around.' That's one I'll be thinking about all night."

Now, Raiders are attempting to prevent a prospective nine game losing streak in their upcoming match versus their AFC West rival Chargers this Sunday.

"They're looking for the gold at the end of the rainbow and it hasn't been there," said Raiders head coach Tony Sparano to reporters.

"We have to stay the course and believe in the things that we're doing and we're getting better as a football team. I know this is not an indicator of that."
