The San Antonio Spurs will clash with the Los Angeles Lakers on January 23 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The defending World Champion San Antonio Spurs (27-17) are looking to avoid a potential two game losing streak when they host the Lakers on Friday night.

Previously, Spurs were defeated by the Chicago Bulls by a final score of 104-81 on January 22 after small forward Kawhi Leonard scored 16 points in the loss.

"We just played embarrassing basketball," said San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich to reporters, "I want my money back."

Meanwhile, the Lakers (12-31) are looking to stop a possible seven game losing streak when they face the Spurs at the AT&T Center.

Previously, Los Angeles lost to the New Orleans Pelicans by a final score of 96-80 on Wednesday night after Lakers center Jordan Hill had 15 points and 13 rebounds in the defeat.

"[My right shoulder] just came out of joint a little bit. I felt fine when I went up and didn't feel too good when I came down," said Kobe Bryant to reporters in reference to possibly missing the upcoming road matchup versus the Spurs.

"I feel fine. We make a lot of it, but the reality is I'm doing some pretty phenomenal things in 30 minutes. My body is not that (messed) up."
