The San Antonio Spurs will battle the Chicago Bulls on January 22 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

The defending World Champion San Antonio Spurs (27-16) are looking to lengthen their current winning streak to five games when they face the Bulls on Thursday night.

"We were missing some players; still, we didn't like what we were seeing," said San Antonio shooting guard Manu Ginobili to reporters.

"We didn't play well enough so we worked on it. Don't believe we've fixed the issues; it's a process. We've won four in a row but it doesn't mean we're good to go now."

Previously, Spurs defeated the Denver Nuggets by a final score of 109-99 on January 20 after small forward Kawhi Leonard had 17 points, 15 rebounds and 2 steals in the victory.

"We all felt like we gave away some of those games in December," said Leonard to reporters.

"We just have to win out these next games, get into a rhythm going into the All-Star break."

Meanwhile, the Bulls (27-16) are looking to prevent a possible three game losing streak when they host the Spurs at the United Center.

"We've got to decide when enough is enough," said Chicago head coach Tom Thibodeau to reporters.

"We've got to get better. It's really that simple. The way we're playing is not acceptable, so we have to change it."

The Bulls lost to their Central division foe Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 108-94 after Chicago shooting guard Jimmy Butler totaled 20 points and 7 rebounds in a losing effort on January 19.

"If we don't have that edge, we're going to continue to get our butt whupped," said Chicago point guard Derrick Rose to reporters after he scored 18 points in the aforementioned defeat.

"Basketball should be fun. It seems like we're overthinking."
