The San Antonio Spurs will face the Brooklyn Nets on December 3 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The defending World Champion San Antonio Spurs (13-4) are looking to lengthen their remarkable winning streak to nine games when they battle the Nets on Wednesday night.

Spurs recently pummeled the winless Philadelphia 76ers (0-17) by a final score of 109-103 on December 1 after San Antonio small forward Kawhi Leonard had 26 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.

"I try to assert myself every night but tonight there were a lot of shots to shoot," said Leonard to reporters.

Longtime San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich also expressed his thoughts on Leonard's impressive double-double performance.

"We're trying to loosen up a bit and give him more of a green light," said Popovich to reporters.

Meanwhile, the Nets are seeking to defend their home court when they clash with the reigning NBA Champions at the Barclays Center.

"We couldn't make shots. We tried to change the lineup and we still couldn't make shots," said Brooklyn head coach Lionel Hollins to reporters after their recent 102-84 loss to the Bulls on November 30.

"We're 6-9 so if people have checked out and quit on that we've got a serious problem, more serious than just effort and all that. I think they do believe that they can. It's just a matter of, as I said, is that change doesn't happen unless you commit to it."
