Samsung Veyron News: Modern Version Flip Phone To Be Released In November?
Along with its several upcoming devices, it is revealed that Samsung is set to unveil its modern version of a flip phone, the Samsung Veyron.
It looks like Samsung chose to relive the trend of flip phones with Samsung SM-W2017, which is set to be known as Samsung Veyron, Tech Times has learned. As per the publication, the handset is set to have better specifications than its predecessor, the SM-W2016, which was released in 2016.
Along with a metallic body, the Samsung Veyron is set to have the Exynos 8890 as its processor, along with two 3.9-inch Super AMOLED displays with HD resolution, 64GB internal storage, and 3GB of RAM, according to Sam Mobile. Just like the SM-W2016, the Veyron is also assumed to have wireless charging capabilities, which means that the flip phone can be charged quickly just like its non-flip phone predecessors.
In terms of camera, the Samsung Veyron is expected to capture high quality images and videos with its 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, which are also features of the Samsung Galaxy S7. The phone is set to last longer, as it is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery. It is vague at this point is the forthcoming flip phone is set to be resistant to water and dust, just like the tech giant's current flagship.
With the aforementioned features, Samsung is shifting its gears on raising Samsung Veyron as one of its high-end product lines.
Since the SM-W2016 was released in Nov. 2015, the Samsung Veyron is also expected to be released in November.
