Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Release Date News, Rumors: New Tablet Launch Next Month to Compete with Apple’s iPad?
Tech enthusiasts who have been eagerly waiting for Samsung to launch its Galaxy Tab S2 will be happy to learn that the usually reliable @OnLeaks has recently posted a photo of the purported device revealing some of the specifications. To begin with, the look of the Galaxy Tab S2 will largely be similar to that of the just outmoded Galaxy Tab A.
According to Tech Radar, from the appearance of the device in the leaked photograph, Galaxy Tab S2 is likely to have a metal frame around the edges, in addition to a physical home button that may possibly double as a fingerprint sensor. A front-facing camera as well as a light sensor can also be seen in the background.
The photograph indicates that the device will come with a 4:3 screen ratio, which is consistent with the earlier rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 specs. If the latest rumors regarding the device are to be believed, the tablet will be equipped with a Super AMOLED display together with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
Apart from the information offered by @OnLeaks, even the Hancom Office Show 2014, a Samsung app also mentions about the Galaxy Tab S2. It claims that the upcoming tablet is a compatible device.
In fact, the news on Samsung's own app is the first official confirmation that the South Korean tech titan is actually working on the next-generation Galaxy Tab S2. Nevertheless, at this stage it would have been certainly been a great surprise if the company has already not begun working on the device.
According to Tech Radar, it is likely that Samsung will launch the device some time in June with a view to take away some more market share away from its business rival Apple. There are rumors that the Galaxy Tab S2 will feature a 64-bit Exynos processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
