Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Leak News: Images of Large Case Suggest Device Will Come With 9.7-Inch Display Size
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, purportedly the latest addition to the South Korean tech firm's tablet line-up, is once again in the news following a leaked image of the alleged device. The leaked image has offered the tech enthusiasts the first glimpse of what the high-end tablet would look like.
According to Christian Today, very recently, a photograph of the purported Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was leaked online and it gave the world the notion that the device is adapting the classy and well-regarded design of the recently released Samsung Galaxy S6. However, this does not come as a surprise as the predecessor of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 too bears resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S5's design.
Photographs of large cases for the Galaxy Tab S2 suggest that the upcoming tablet will come with a 9.7-inch display, in addition to a standard 8-inch version. In fact, even the Samsung Galaxy Tab S came in two sizes, and it now appears that Samsung will continue with the tradition.
In the recent past, some media outlets were successful in revealing a few supposed specs of the yet-to -be officially announced Samsung offering. While the Tabs are different in size, it is expected that they will follow 4:3 aspect ratio for their AMOLED displays that will render a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution.
In terms of the hardware, the purported Galaxy Tab S2 will be powered by an octa-core Sony Exynos 5 chipset from big.LITTLE family paired with either 3 GB or 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage. The device will run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and come with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will boast a 7-megapixel rear-facing main camera, which can be used to record videos at 1080p as well as take photos and capture special moments. As of now, there is no information regarding the device's battery unit.
It has been reported that Samsung will be lifting the veil off the highly-anticipated tablet sometime this month. For several months now, there have been rumors regarding the device and many await its arrival expecting it to be better than its predecessor.
