Samsung Galaxy TabPro S Release Date, Price and Specs: Laptop-Tablet Hybrid Arriving This Month?

Samsung's Galaxy TabPro is getting ready for competition with its specifications and price.

According to the official Samsung website, the Galaxy TabPro S is a two-in-one tablet that features a full-sized detachable keyboard, powered by Microsoft's Windows 10. Thus, Samsung's, upcoming device is set to unleash the efficiency of a laptop and the convenience of a tablet at the same time.

The device also has a sleek, slim, and stylish appearance, which comes in at 0.25 inch and 1.53 pounds, allowing it to be its user's "perfectly portable companion." With its Windows 10 Home, users can access Live Tiles, Microsoft Office, Virtual Desktops, and various applications from the Windows Store with their fingertips.

The Live Tiles feature various applications that users can use, which ranges from games to social media. Virtual Desktops allow users to check open or running applications and choose whether to continue running them or close them. On the other hand, the Microsoft Office feature of the Samsung TabPro S allows users to create, edit, and access various documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Samsung's TabPro S also utilizes an Intel Core M3 processor, along with 4GB of RAM, which gives it more power to get things done. In addition, the device also has a 128GB of storage, which allows users to store large-size albums of photos, videos, songs, movies, and e-books.

With regard the display, Samsung TabPro features a Super AMOLED display, along with vibrant colors and "crisp details," allowing users to view images and movies on the device.

Users can also do their activities using the TabPro S for a long period of time, since the device can last up to 10.5 hours with a full charge. Also, users can already gain 2.4 hours of usage time in just 30 minutes of charging.

Samsung's TabPro S is set to compete with Microsoft's Surface Pro 4, according to The Inquirer. As per the publication, the latter also has a foldable keyboard as cover add-on and stylus support, which boost its marketability to both consumers and professionals.

The Samsung TabPro S was released in the United Kingdom on Mar. 16 at 849 British pounds and is set for a United States release on Mar. 18 at $899.99.
