Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs, Features, Release Date & Price: Flagship Going To Launch In February?

The Samsung Galaxy S8 release date will allegedly be announced in February next year as the South Korean company is eager to leave behind the fiasco that was the exploding battery of Note 7.

The first Galaxy S was launched six years ago in March, the second gen arrived in February 2011. Every year thereafter was released either in March or February, except for the S3 which was rolled out in May 2012. So if we are going to go with the trend, the Samsung Galaxy S8 release date would either by in February or March 2017.

And the rumors are alleging that Samsung is looking for an early release date for the Galaxy S8 so they could put the Note 7 episode behind them.

As the Samsung Galaxy S8 specs, it's allegedly going to have 5.5-inch display with 4K resolution or 3840 x 2160 pixels. It's geared like that to prepare for the Samsung Gear VR. It's going to run the Exynos 8895 SoC along with 6GB of RAM. The camera is 16 megapixels on the back and 8 MP on the front snapper. It's also going to be bezel-less.

There are even rumors about one of the features for the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be an all-glass front without the home button. In its place is a fingerprint sensor.

Watch out for more news and rumors on the Samsung Galaxy S8. There should be more details that will crop up as the 2017 release date draws near. As to the price, it will reportedly range between $660 and $730.
