Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Edge Release Date News: Phones To Have 4K UHD Display; Set For Feb 2017 Release?

Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S8 at the Mobile World Congress in February of 2017 and it looks like it has the potential to crowned once again as the smart phone with the best display.

Last year, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge took the crown. The devices had 5.5-inch OLED displays. While Apple is trying to catch up with Samsung and adding the same OLED to their devices, Samsung might be once again one step ahead of its arch rival as many believe that they will switch to a 4K UHD display when their Galaxy S8 comes in March or April according to Forbes.

Also, according to Sam Mobile, The Korean tech company has already showcased device sporting a 5.5-inch 4K UHD display with 806 ppi at the Society of Information Display 2016 trade show.

The company is currently putting all their efforts to have this new innovation installed in the new Galaxy 8. Samsung has really been good when it comes to upgrading the display specs of their products. Before, the Galaxy S3 only had HD on its display. Just a couple of months later, they upgraded the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 to a full HD display. They didn't stop there. They even upgraded the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7 to a Quad HD display and it is with high probability that the next flagship device would have a more improved display.

Samsung company is set to release Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 EDGe, Galaxy Note 8, the Galaxy Note 8 EDGE and Galaxy X in 2017. There is no confirmation yet, but we definitely would like to see the 4K UHD display included in the Galaxy S8.
