Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Xperia Z4 Review, Specs Comparison: Samsung & Sony to Launch Competitive Flagship Smartphones in 2015
As 2014 comes to a close, tech enthusiasts have started speculating about the smartphones that are scheduled for release in 2015. Every minute the Internet is being flooded with speculations and rumors regarding Samsung's Galaxy S6 and Sony's Xperia Z4, which are both expected to be launched in 2015.
Christian Today reports that there are speculations regarding Samsung introducing its latest flagship smartphone Galaxy S6 at the Mobile World Congress, which is scheduled for spring next year.
According to latest reports, the upcoming smartphone is likely to have a metal body, similar to the just released Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Alpha.
Known as Project Zero by industry insiders, the Galaxy S6 is expected to sport a 5-inch or a 5.6-inch touchscreen. Moreover, as the existing Galaxy S5 comes with spectacular specs inside the covers, rumors are there that even the Galaxy S6 will come with matching, if not better, features.
Other rumors regarding the Galaxy S6 say that the upcoming smartphone will come with a 16-MP or 20-MP rear primary camera, while the front-facing secondary camera will be somewhat inferior- 5 megapixel. In addition, the device will possibly be packed with a 64-bit Exynos 7420 or Snapdragon 810 processor.
On the other hand, Sony also has plans to release its new smartphone next year. Latest reports state that Sony will launch the next generation Xperia Z series called the Sony Xperia Z4 in 2015.
Citing rumors, the website says that the Japanese tech firm is likely to incorporate upgraded specs in Xperia Z4 along with token changes in the external design of the device. It is also expected to come with a unique 20-megapixel primary camera having the ability to shoot 4K video.
It is expected that Sony will also announce the launch news about Xperia Z4 at the Mobile World Congress scheduled for March 2015 in Spain. At the same time, Sony is also likely to announce the release of the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact.
