Samsung Galaxy S6 Specs Rumors, News: Promo Video Hints Curved Display & Anti-Reflective Screen

In light of the Mobile World Conference (MWC) next week, Samsung released a promo video for their Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge on the Samsung Mobile YouTube channel.

In the video an unknown, yet tantalizing voice said, "Tomorrow metals will flow. Beauty will be powerful. Borders will disappear. Reflections will be free. Colors will live. The future will be present." Along with the narration was a futuristic looking performance with a lot of black-on-neon views with silhouettes of the new devices from Samsung flowing throughout the screen.

The video seems to show that the new handsets will be curved and have an anti-reflective display. This display has been shown in Samsung devices like the Galaxy Note Edge.

The tease of the phone's look was prominent. Specific information for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge has been released through leaks and speculations in the past few weeks. According to Geeky Gadgets, the phones will have a 5.1 inch Quad HD display, a 2560x1440 pixel resolution, a Samsung Exynos 7420 eight core 64-bit processor, and 3GB of RAM. Three storage options are also rumored to be available with the options being 32GB, 64GB and 128 GB.

Another new feature to these next line of Galaxy devices will be replacing the plastic materials it usually has with premium ones.

According to BGR, Samsung users have not been satisfied with the past versions of the Galaxy, saying that the company lacks the sleekness and edginess other companies like Apple rising up to the challenge.

The full launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge occurs on Sunday, March 1 in Barcelona at this year's MWC.
