Samsung Galaxy S6 Specs Rumors, News: Device Set for Release at Mobile World Congress 2015?
Analysts and experts are saying that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is Samsung's attempt at a fresh start. The S5 had a lackluster run, and now the company is hoping to replenish its image and reputation with the S6.
Luckily, Samsung has established itself as a company that learns from its past devices. Known for taking the highlights and strong points of its previous phones to craft an even better one, the S6 is expected to include the elements Galaxy users have come to know and love, while adding something new.
Set to be revealed in about two months at the Mobile World Congress 2015, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is believed to be beefed up in terms of presentation more than in its internal workings. Reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 4, the S6 will be made of a similar metal and have a plastic back. Users of Samsung's Galaxy phones exalt the lightness and mobility of the devices, so Samsung is sure to keep those elements present.
Stats for the Samsung Galaxy S6 have not been finalized, but the expectations include a front and back camera; sixteen megapixels with OIS and 4K recording for the former and five megapixels for the latter. The display will measure 5.2 inches, with a microSD slot and Android 5.0 Lollipop. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor on the inside and an Exynos 7420 processor outside. As for storage, consumers can choose from 32, 64, or 128 gigabytes internally.
With the disappointment following the Galaxy S5, Samsung needs to make a splash with the S6. The supposedly leaked specs for the phone seem fantastic, so buyers can only hope that the unveiling in March lives up to the hype.
