Samsung Galaxy S6 Sales News: Latest Flagship Devices Hard to Find in Stores Due to High Demand
After ranking the Samsung Galaxy S6 as best current smartphone in its list of best phones, Tech Radar now reports that the device has already sold out in a number of stores in different regions of the world.
Quoting Reuters, the tech website reports that the simple reason why the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge are difficult to find in the stores is simple. According to Samsung, says that demand for its latest flagship smartphones is "much higher" compared to what was planned initially planned.
Recently, the South Korean tech giant told the wire service, "Although there may be some difficulties for the short term, we will do our utmost to secure enough supply for our global consumers."
For instance, the U.S. network carrier Verizon has a back-order of the Samsung Galaxy S6, which was released on April 10, until an "estimated" April 21 - the date when the shipping of the smartphones will commence.
According to Korea Times, while Samsung is yet to release the official sales figures of the Galaxy S6, it is expected that the numbers will the 10 million sales mark by March 6.
In fact, the flagship Galaxy S6 as well as its curvier cousin Galaxy S6 Edge came with additional gusto and bigger changes compared to the underwhelming Samsung Galaxy S5 update.
